Dear Colleague: The South Bay Black Nurses Association, Inc. (SBBNA), a chapter of the National Black Nurses Association (NBNA), invites you to become a member of our chapter. Our mission is helping Americans of African heritage and other typically under-served populations to become well-informed, assertive consumers who have access to quality health care. By joining SBBNA/NBNA, you can help us become visible and increase the influence we have on policy makers and providers of health care in our community. Together we will make a difference by enhancing and expanding nursing opportunities. To be a member of our chapter, you must also belong to the National Black Nurses Association. Please complete the membership application below and return it with the appropriate amount for your membership category to our offices. Make check payable to SBBNA. We meet the 2nd Friday of the month from 7:00pm to 8:30 p.m. from September to June, at the Regional Medical Center of San Jose, 255 N. Jackson Street, San Jose, CA in Room C on the basement floor.
